Fractional COO for Legal Aid and Small Businesses | About Me

I never planned to fall in love with operations.

For almost 20 years at Nevada Legal Services, I worked to make access to justice more than a promise. I started as a staff attorney, moved into leadership, and ended my tenure as deputy director. Along the way, I realized something important: great programs fall apart without strong operations.

That’s when I went all in. I led key tech upgrades, drove grant compliance and reporting, and helped increase funding by 30% over three years. Those years cemented operations as my core strength. Behind every successful program, I saw firsthand how much everything depends on focused strategy, clear coordination, and systems that actually work.

Later, I joined the Prowess Project and earned a certification as an Online Business Manager. That experience gave me both a tight-knit community and a new sense of direction. It also pushed me to rethink how I could apply my skills to support small businesses—especially those at a turning point. It also sparked my interest in AI. That curiosity led me to learn Python and complete Johns Hopkins’ certification in Generative AI, where I explored everything from retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) to agent workflows.

Today, I run Array Operations. Drawing on both nonprofit leadership and business operations experience, I work as a fractional COO for legal aid groups and small businesses. This means helping nonprofits build stronger systems, improve intake, and streamline grant tracking and reporting. I support founders by handling the operational work that’s now too time-intensive, helping them stay focused on what matters most.

Let’s simplify what’s gotten too complicated. Let’s make room for impactful decisions. Let’s get you back to the work that actually matters.
